With the approaching 2.6.35-rc1 release, it's nice to realise, that all plans have been fulfilled (well, which just means, that we planned wisely;)). All patches, that we wanted to manage in time for rc1, are on their way to the mainline via various respective subsystem and architecture trees. Specifically this means, that huge thanks are in order to all maintainers of those trees, and all who reviewed the patches and helped to get the patches in shape and on their way in time!
Most of the patches I already announced in this blog, the only new development since the last post has been porting of previous work to the SH-mobile ARM architecture. This includes DMA support for SDHI SD-card- and SCI serial-controllers, the latter driver has also been updated to support SCIFB serial ports. The tmio SD-card host driver has also been extended to take into account platform specifics. Impatient readers can look in mailing list archives, most of these patches have been submitted via the linux-sh mailing list. Otherwise just wait for rc1.
